Function
The output voltage, which can be infinitely adjusted by hand by means
of a rotary knob, is guided directly to the excitation coils of the
test core.
In this way, an electromagnetic field that is as homogeneous as
possible is to be built up in the air gap of the test core, with which
nuclear material inserted in the air gap can be characterized.
The basic operation of the core test system is carried out via the
switching and display elements on the front panel at the front of the
test trolley.
