FULLTONTECH TBF6111B horizontal boring machine was built in 2022 in
China by Dalian Fullton Machinery Co., Ltd. The machine enables a
number of complex operations to be performed, i.e. precision drilling,
milling and boring, on workpieces with complex geometries and heavy
weights. All these operations are performed on a stable work table,
whose rotary design enables the workpiece to be machined from all 4
sides.
The spindle, rotating at a maximum speed of 1000 rpm, runs on
induction-hardened guideways with scrapers. The spindle has a special
safety clutch which prevents the machine from being overloaded. A
powerful hydraulic system, consisting of two parts, is responsible for
changing the spindle speed and feed rate. The position of the head in
all linear axes is in turn controlled by a NEWALL digital readout,
which provides a measurement accuracy of 0.005 mm. The FULLTONTECH
boring machine weighs 13000 kg.
