The FORNI INDUSTRIALI FIBEX COMBI 6GX-10.130-7110.2E.270 brazing
furnace was built by the Italian company Forni Industriali Heat
Treating Plants in 2007. The furnace is used for soldering steel
elements with solder paste at temperatures up to 1120 degrees Celsius.
At the entrance and exit of the furnace, two pairs of gas burners
(so-called safety pilots) are installed to prevent the escape of the
protective atmosphere outside the furnace. Electric heaters powered by
thyristor temperature regulators are responsible for the proper
temperature in the furnace. The belt furnace has a conveyor speed
adjustment in the range from 0 to 500 mm / min, and the working length
of the soldering zone is 7100 mm. The furnace for brazing steel
elements was modernized in 2021 - the thermal insulation and the
cooling module for sections 1 and 2 were replaced. The cost of the
modernization was 70,000 Euro.
