Regal RP12/T twin head rotary filling machine suitable for coleslaw
and potato salad type products into square containers. The anticipated
production speed is between 60 - 65 containers / minute. The machine
will also be capable of running rectangular pots in the future,
although an additional set of change parts will need to be
purchased.
1.1.1 – PRODUCT SPECIFICATION DETAILS
Machine Layout
Container Dispense: A twin head positive separation container dispense
complete with vacuum assist pull-out arms, to dispense 2 containers
each index into the rotary table. The stack will have its own
container detection system which will initiate the shift register on
the machine.
Container Detection: Container detection will be done on the station
after the de-nester via 2 visual sensors.
Filling Assembly: A twin head, volumetric filling assembly suitable
for filling coleslaw and potato salad type products. The filler will
be fitted with positive shut-off filling nozzles. The filler is
pneumatically operated. Each filling head will have independent weight
control, which is easily adjustable via a handwheel, using a digital
counter for reference of different settings. The filler will be fitted
with pistons giving a filling range of 150gm to 550gm.
(A product tank level probe can be supplied at extra cost).
Pre-cut Diaphragm
Dispense: A twin head automatic plastic / foil pre-cut diaphragm
applier utilising a vacuum pick and place mechanism to dispense
pre-cut diaphragms from the magazine. In the event that no diaphragm
is placed, the machine will stop and alert the operator.
Spot Seal: A twin head spot seal assembly will also be fitted to
ensure the pre-cut diaphragms are correctly positioned on the
containers, prior to heat sealing.
Heat Seal: A twin head heat seal T5347626 assembly is fitted to
ensure the pre-cut diaphragms are correctly sealed on the containers,
the sealing heads will be self-levelling with adjustable, dwell,
pressure and temperature control.
OverLid Dispense: A twin head gripper type, pick and place assembly
which will dispense 2 overlids at a time from the magazine, invert
them and place them centrally onto the containers. The overlid
dispense will be fitted with lid consolidator faces to ensure that the
overlids are securely fitted onto the containers.
Eject Lift & Sweep: An eject lift and sweep assembly will remove the
containers out of the turntable and onto the eject discharge conveyor.
Discharge Conveyor: A 1.5 metre long discharge conveyor is supplied to
transport the containers out of the machine.
