The MR 40-80 is a powerful single-shaft shredder for many tasks, such
as the pre-shredding of cables, the crushing of electronic waste, used
plastics, wood, etc.
Unlike other single-shaft machines, IRS's shredder has two instead of
one series of stator knives for better product quality and higher
hourly output. The optimized arrangement of the rotor blades also
reduces energy consumption.
The horizontally acting hydraulic pusher has replaceable wear strips
and regulates the contact pressure on the rotor. In addition, there
are interchangeable screens for special tasks from 10 mm hole
diameter.
On request, the shredder can be optimized for cooling the rotor shaft,
with wear protection armor, hydraulic clutch, remote services and
other options for the respective application.
