Product is cut, rather than hammered, chopped or ground, to control particle size reduction and uses minimal knife penetration resulting in reduced fines... OPERATING PRINCIPLE: Indeed hopper is equipped with an adjustable gate to control flow to vibratory feeder which evenly distributes the product across the pan. From there, product is dropped between the feed roll and circular knife spindle. The opening at this juncture can be adjusted via a single lever to meet granulated product size specification. Changing how deep the circular knives penetrate the product has a direct effect on percentage of granular sizes produced. FEATURING: Granulation ranging from 3/32 inch to 3/8 inch (2.4 mm to 9.5mm) -- spacers and number of circular knives determine. 8.5 inch wide by 12.75 E41161673 inch long infeed hopper with adjustable flow gate. Adjustable speed control vibratory feed pan. Currently set with standard fluted feed roll and 3/16 inch circular knife spindle. Factory control panel with safety interlock system.
