The Glatt Multipan-Coater (GMPC) is designed specifically for research
and development for coating tablets with aqueous or organic solvent
solutions. As an option, it is also possible to coat cores with sugar
syrup. For the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food, dietary,
medical devices, manufacturing sectors.
Once the system has been filled with tablets, heat is used in the
application of aqueous coating solutions or dispersions. The tablets
are then dried with treated air. Pan rotation enables a homogenous,
coating layer by a permanent mixing movement of the product.
The interchangeable Pan, respectively with a diameter of 440 mm and
750 mm.
Each Pan has its own trolley on which it can be stored when not in
use. For the purpose of inserting the pan into the coater, the trolley
is equipped M5358273 with a system of guide rails.
