Four air cushions are produced per cycle, with the exception of a programme with a cushion length of 160 mm on a film width of 420 mm. The weld seams are produced by heat impulses. Pure polyethylene films and polyamide/polyethylene composite films are processed. Individual cushion lengths can be produced by calling up stored programmes. Variable cushion lengths and heights can be achieved by additionally changing the amount of air used to fill the cushions. The rows of cushions, each produced in groups of four, are perforated and can be adjusted to the operational requirements without any U4958834 auxiliary equipment. The cushion webs are wound into rolls and are available at the workplace for individual processing with the APD unwinding unit, which is available as an accessory. With two rolls of film (top and bottom film), approx. 20 m³ volume can be produced with cushion length 160 mm and use of film BPE 4-5.
