The filter filters fully automatically and also flushes back fully automatically during filtration (time and duration can be set). Furthermore, it also does a water flush fully automatically when a preset minimum quantity falls below a preset level. This means that even a large quantity can be filtered fully automatically – without anyone having to be present.

The user only has to add the cleaning agents manually during dry cleaning, there is no automated dosage. The cleaning itself then runs V49416 automatically again.

In addition to smaller extras, the filter also has a slow-running impeller pump installed. This pump conveys the wine to be filtered into the process tank located on the plant and can thus filter it. This is used when the source tank is either one floor lower than the filter or very far away.
