The machinery consists of a line for washing, disinfecting, and packing fruit or other spherical products placed inside a containment chamber with a totally sterile character.
The product load inserted in a work cycle can be maximum of about 5 quintals for a total load over an 8-hour work shift of about 300 quintals.
The entire load is conveyed into a vibrating loading hopper of dimensions 1300 mm x 1800 mm and through a chute follows the entry into a product cleaning die (auger).
This first step allows the clean product to be separated from the rest of the dirty material conveyed through special pipes to, for example, an Imhoff pit.
The pushing work of a propeller allows further passage into a tank containing antibacterial and disinfectant liquid of dimensions 800 mm x 800 mm x 700 mm with overflow and bottom drain.
The next passage involves conveying the product to an uphill belt on steps. The basin extractor belt with stainless steel frame and motovariator involves the action of a series of sprayers with lexan covers for rinsing.
Next, the product must be dried and thus introduced into a duct with drying fans by means of an 850-mm blower hood supported by a fan and filter.
The next electrically controlled conveyor belt allows product advancement and bagging by means of a semiautomatic bagging machine (Type NANA 99 for open-mouth bags bottom scale kg 50 and production 2 bags per minute of 25 kg. Bagging continues with a manual, foot-operated bag sealing machine, Model S 620/5, and a fixed-format type Mod. GEM 520 taping machine and 1200 mm to 4500 mm outfeed extensible tape.
The pouches containing the product are placed in cardboard boxes, which, by means of the taping machine, will be sealed at the bottom and top.
Moving the boxes by E41261673 conveyor belt allows the flow out of the containment chamber.
The containment chamber is completely sterile and 10 m x 6 m x 5 m in size.
The material required for construction consists of 15 m of 2 mm U-shaped galvanized sheet metal profiles for panel and door and roller box re-squaring. The supply includes a rapid roll-up door, vertical, galvanized sheet metal structure, closing blanket, self-extinguishing class 2 double weave tear-resistant, polyester fabric, color gray, textured and PVC coated reinforced at the points of greatest wear. There is provision for the insertion of transparent portholes and 380 V three-phase motorization with reducer unit, electromechanical brake and high-precision limit switch unit.
