The FOB5 laboratory cabinet autoclave is a stand-alone sterilizer with high flexibility of use, ranging from quality laboratories in pharmaceutical or food companies, to laboratories classified BLS 3–4 within research centers, hospitals or universities.

The autoclave has never been installed or used, it is still in its original packaging. All the instruction, installation and testing manuals by the parent company are present, regularly registered and signed. The most common applications for the FOB5 series are: Microbiological and analytical laboratories; Research institutes; Companies in the biotechnology and life science field; Laboratories in diagnostic and veterinary clinics; Quality laboratories of food, chemical and pharmaceutical companies. FOB5 has a hermetically sealed flange, single or double, welded and made of stainless steel, which makes it suitable for use in BLS 3 and 4 biological risk laboratories and for use in the operating room.

Thanks to the plates in the chamber that act as heat exchangers, FOB5 has an almost perfect homogeneity of temperature distribution in the chamber. The plates act as high-efficiency heat exchangers for pre-heating the steam and for cooling the temperature in the chamber through cold water. As an option, the plates can be used for final drying. The pressure body of the autoclave is made of 316L steel, just like the pneumatic valves and hydraulic components. The FOB5 line is characterized by extremely easy access to the technical compartment for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, thanks to the front and side accesses. The external E4961673 trolleys and internal trays are compatible with the Fedegari FGW series glassware washer to ensure high-level performance for washing and sterilization in the laboratory. The FOB5 series of benchtop autoclaves is equipped with the DCS20 process controller, which has great flexibility thanks to its 30 sterilization programs in a multi-user environment. The graphical interface is easy and intuitive and can be operated via a touch panel or remotely via Ethernet. The DCS20 process controller is completely pre-validated by Fedegari and compliant with the most stringent pharmaceutical standards to ensure full validity and reproducibility of the process.
