Foreword
The wastewater plant described below was designed as a
COD mining plant operated without sewage sludge preparation.
Commissioning: 1999
The wastewater load of approx. 136m³ / day from the albi fruit juice

are installed. 4 grids with

TO get a good compressed air input into the wastewater,
2 agitators are installed per basin. Manufacturer : EMU,
Type: TR 30-2 19-4/8, number of blades 2, speed 192 rpm.

Specific oxygen input is 17 gQ (Nm³+mET)
Entry depth in the basin: 3.5 m
There are 2 concrete basins built,
LxWxH= 18.05 m x 9.025 m (per chamber) x height 5.5 m
Water depth max. 4.3 m, min. 3.07 m
Due to different wastewater inlet quantities
over the course of the day, the aeration plant will be equipped with

The wastewater feed is carried out with a pressure pipe in DA 90,
the outlet from the aeration tank is max. 3 liters / sec.
